A Tonic Juice Co. cleanse offers the replacement of most meals with a fruit and vegetable juice for a short period of time. We now know that in our daily life, without even knowing it, we encounter thousands of man-made chemicals. From skincare, environmental toxins, herbicides, and pesticides in your food just to start, we can’t avoid everything that can potentially cause us harm over time. But we can cleanse it out gently and help our internal detoxification process to strengthen so that we can handle these daily stressors a little easier

Why should you do a Tonic Juice Co. cleanse?

There are various reasons why individuals choose to do a Tonic Juice Co. cleanse. The easily digestible fruit and vegetable juices are packed full of vitamins and minerals, which can provide a phytonutrient boost for the body! So if you’re lacking energy, feeling heavy in your body, unmotivated, moody, depressed or anxious, forgetting things too easily, getting sick too often, noticing that your skin is dull, excessive body odour, frustrated by cellulite and the weight you can’t lose, often bloated or experiencing tummy pains then a Tonic Juice Co. cleanse might be just what your body needs. However, it is important to note that a juice cleanse is not suitable for everyone and should be considered thoroughly before starting.

What to expect during the cleanse?

The Tonic Juice Co. cleanse involves three stages: Nourish, Cleanse & Restore.

During the Nourish Phase, the aim is to decrease your toxic loaders and clean up the diet in preparation for the juice cleanse. This phase will have nourishing recipes so that you don’t go hungry during this phase!

During the Cleanse Phase, the aim is to detoxify to allow the digestive system to take a break for a few days. We do recommend during the juice cleanse phase that you limit snacks. However, if you are hungry during this phase then there are healthy snack options!

During the Restore Phase of the cleanse, the aim is to replenish the body with specific foods and nutrients to ensure that the body leaves the 7-day cleanse feeling refreshed and revitalized, rather than hungry and frustrated.

I have never completed a juice cleanse before, where should I start?

If you haven’t completed a juice cleanse before that is okay! Tonic Juice Co. has accounted for this and designed their protocols to include a Nourish phase. During the Nourish phase, certain inflammatory foods including processed foods, sugar and caffeine are removed 2 days leading up to the cleanse to nourish the body and decrease a negative association to detoxing, or cleansing. We want to help you see that this can be simple, positive, and delicious.

Will There be any symptoms or side effects while cleansing?

Even though Tonic Juice Co. has designed the cleansing protocol to minimize side effects, some individuals may still experience symptoms. You might feel weak, have flu-like symptoms, or notice swollen glands. These are typically signs that your lymphatic system is actively detoxifying your body, which is a natural and beneficial process. However, if you feel very uncomfortable or experience severe symptoms, we recommend consulting a doctor for guidance.

Habits to Avoid

Certain foods can cause an inflammatory effect in your body and stop you from seeing results. During your cleanse we recommend you trial cutting these out of

your diet. Gluten-containing grains

Dairy
Sugar
Alcohol
Red meat and processed meats
Coffee - try green tea if you’re craving caffeine! All processed and fast foods
